The UK is Sending Plastic Waste to Low Income Countries

A loophole was created after Britain left the European union that meant it could avoid following the EU directive to ban exporting plastic waste to low income countries that aren’t apart of the OECD (Organisation of Economic Cooperations and Development).  The UK has the second highest rate of plastic consumption per person in the world, and most of this is contaminated plastic or plastic that is harder to recycle. So it gets shipped abroad.  In 2020 nearly 790,000 tonnes of plastic waste was exported, with only 486,000 tonnes being recycled in the UK. The Origin of Tarot

The exact origin of tarot is unknown. In modern times it is said tarot began in Italy around the fifteenth century, however some say the meanings of the cards come from the ancient Egyptian mystery schools of Thoth, the god of wisdom, thousands of years earlier. Poland's Abortion Ban Jan 2021 | Women need the right to safe abortions

At the end of January 2021 the polish government imposed a near-total ban on abortions. The ruling, which was handed down by Poland's constitutional tribunal court in October 2020, states that abortions may only be permitted in cases of rape, incest or when the mother's life is in danger. Such cases accounted for just 2.4 percent of the countries abortions in 2019. Poland’s abortion laws were already among the strictest in Europe however this ruling will prevent abortions even in the case of fatal abnormalities in the unborn child.
